Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a mission-driven, energetic, and coachable Sales Development Representative to join our Houston Team. You will be responsible for prospecting and lead generation throughout the entire north American market. As we continue to innovate, you will play a key role on a growing sales team and your role will be critical to introduce our solutions to our prospective customers.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be the tip of the sales spear, responsible for introducing Validere’s solutions to O&G producers and midstream companies.  If you’re up for a challenge and the opportunity of owning and growing novel products in the oil & gas industry, this is the job for you!

 

What You Will Accomplish

  • Achieve 50% QoQ growth in USA sales pipeline
  • Penetrate 15% of target accounts in the upstream segment
  • Penetrate 25% of target accounts in the midstream segment

 

How you will Succeed

  • Drive Validere’s lead generation machine to deliver repeatable and successful results
  • Execute cold call, email, and social campaigns, organize webinars, and conduct prospect research
  • Strong listening skills and ability to differentiate and articulate value proposition for different prospects  
  • Liaison with sales team to effortlessly transition qualified leads to discovery calls and demos

 

What Specific Experience You Bring to the Team

  • 1+ years of sales or account development experience is preferred
  • Proven high performer (100%+ of Quota YoY) in a startup environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication and client management skills

 

What Additional Qualifications You Might Have

  • Experience with sales tools (SFDC, Outreach, Zoom)
  • Previous formal sales training
  • Experience in Petroleum Quality or Oil and Gas Industry
  • Sales development experience with a SaaS company
  • You have read Sales Development by Cory Bray and Hilmon Sorey
